Plastic Surgery Industry in Lebanon

We cannot deny that Lebanon is not only attracting people to visit the country to enjoy the great culture of Lebanon but also attracting people who wants to have plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery such as change the appearance of nose and lips, etc. People are attracted to get cosmetic surgery done in Lebanon because of the high proficiency, relatively low prices and mild Mediterranian climate. The reason why people wants to have plastic surgery done because they wants to look like their favorite super star, they want to have lips like Angelina Jolie, Haifa Wehbe's breast, skin lifting, rhinoplasty or nose jobs.

According to Tony Nasara the owner of Brazilian Aesthetic Clinic in Beirut,  plastic surgery in Lebanon was booming started in the year 2000. He says that Lebanon became the destination for people who wanted to have plastic surgery done.

Even in some Arab States plastic surgery is probihited but many rich Arab women comes to Lebanon to get cosmetic surgery done. According to "Hazime" plastic surgery center, about 40% of their total clients come from the Arab States. With 2.000 dollars in Lebanon you can get a nose job done while in other country such UK and USA you have to pay between 5.000 dollars to 10.000 dollars to get the same surgery done, that is big attraction to women who wants to fix their appearance with low budget.

Mr Lebanon 2011 - Roy Imad

Roy Imad was crowned as Mr. Lebanon 2011 on December 2010, the pageant took place at Casino du Liban and was aired on Murr Television - MTV Lebanon. The Pageant was hosted by Wissam Hanna and Abir Layous, with guest singer Zein El Omr and Dominique Hourani (Lebanese singer and top model), and the Jury are: former Miss Lebanon 2003 Marie Jose Hnein, Roger Moukarzel, Mirna Khayat Abou Elisa, Dr. Elie Dib, Zakia Bouiftilen (Mission Fashion), Ward El Khal, Ahmad el Wazzan (Ministry of Tourism), Rima Sayrafi (journalist), Dr. Walid Zaraet (Dentist), and Myriam Benzerga .

After the judgements process including question and answer, finally Roy Imad grabbed the title and crowned as Mister Lebanon 2011.
